Description

This program prepares students to deal with the problems they may encounter when supporting Personal Computers in an office environment. It provides in-depth knowledge of both computer hardware and software and prepares students to take the A+ certification exam. Students will have practical hands-on experience in troubleshooting computer problems and assembling a computer.

Successful students may choose to progress to advanced qualifications such as MCSE or CNE, which are in high demand.

  • Keyboarding (Introduction to Keyboarding and minimum 25 words per minute)

  • Spreadsheets (Intermediate level in one application)

  • Graphics Presentation (Basic proficiency in two applications)
  • Office Skills (Basic level in one application)
  • Business Skills (Intermediate level in one application)
  • Customer Service (Complete specified course to basic level)
  • PC Troubleshooting or A+ Certification Preparation (Complete the specified courses)
