Accreditation

The Vancouver Broadway Station campus of the Academy of Learning is currently registered and accredited by The Private Career Training Institutions Agency (formerly PPSEC). Their responsibility under the BC government’s Private Career Training Institutions Act is to: Provide consumer protection to the students and prospective students of registered institutions; Establish standards of quality that must be met by accredited institutions; Establish and manage the Student Training Completion Fund. As an accredited institution, our programs are eligible for Canada and BC Student Loans and HRDC funding.

Assessment Results

Our Microsoft Word 2003 courseware received outstanding reviews from Pembroke Associates Inc. (the Microsoft authorized content review company), scoring 4 out of 5 on all assessment criteria. Their comments include:

Academy of Learning ’s Microsoft Office 2003 courseware has been approved by the Microsoft Office Specialist Program which means students may be prepared to take an exam for Microsoft Office Specialist qualification upon completion of the Academy’s course.
